Our step-by-step counselling is client-centred, using an integrated approach that blends cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness practices, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

We help clients navigate anxiety, stress, depression, and life transitions — with a focus on communication, boundaries, emotional regulation, and resilience — delivered with clarity and compassion.

In-person counselling is ideal for those who value face-to-face connection and the comfort of a private, welcoming space, because sometimes being seen and heard in person makes all the difference.

ABOUT ME I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master of Education in Clinical Counselling from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver). I also hold a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education and bring years of experience working with individuals across various stages of life.

In addition to my counselling work, I have a strong foundation in education, which informs my ability to support clients with practical strategies, reflective practices, and personalized tools that align with their values and needs — particularly during times of transition or growth.

I work with youth and adults, offering support for a wide range of challenges, including: • Anxiety and depression • Grief and loss • Burnout and emotional exhaustion • Chronic pain and illness • Work or personal stress and injury • Self-esteem and confidence • Life transitions and decision-making • Boundary setting and assertiveness • Family roles, caregiving, and communication challenges

My approach is respectful, down-to-earth, and tailored to each person I work with.

My practice draws from several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centred therapy. I also incorporate tools from narrative therapy and solution-focused therapy, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual.

I currently offer in-person or virtual counselling in both Parksville and Kelowna, as well as virtual and telephone sessions for clients across British Columbia.

MY PHILOSOPHY I believe that meaningful change happens when we feel seen, heard, and supported. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centred. I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to uncover your strengths, explore your values and goals, and build practical strategies to improve your well-being.

This often includes identifying ways of coping and living that work for you – not just what works for others – and helping you develop intentions to align with your values. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for a place to reflect, I aim to provide a safe space where you can move forward with greater clarity and a stronger sense of self.

MY SERVICES I provide counselling for individuals dealing with: • Anxiety and depression • Burnout and emotional exhaustion • Life transitions and decision-making • Grief and loss • Chronic pain and illness • Personal and work-related stress or injury • Self-esteem and confidence • Boundary setting and assertiveness • Family roles and caregiving • Communication and relationship concerns
